Invista Performance Solutions

Invista Performance Solutions is a collaboration of four Pierce County Community and Technical Colleges

Invista Performance Solutions (IPS) is a collaboration of four Pierce County Community and Technical Colleges: Clover Park Technical College, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, Pierce College Puyallup, and Tacoma Community College. Our mission is to provide customized solutions to meet organizations’ training and development needs. Our vision is to be a valued asset to organizations in our community, empowering their workforce to achieve its potential. We help companies gain a competitive advantage in the global economy by increasing the skills of their workforce through education, training, and consulting support.

In 2010 our colleges created IPS as a partnership through a mutually agreed upon Memorandum of Understanding, under the guidelines of the WA State Interlocal Cooperation Act. Our organization is guided by a Governing Body of our own local partner College Presidents and Vice Presidents. We are registered within WA State as a Limited Liability Partnership of these colleges; our staff, including instructors, are community college employees, with the exception of our consultants, who work with us as sub-contractors to the community colleges. Despite our “business-like” name, we are not a corporation, business, or even a non-profit 501c-3.

Invista is your local community and technical colleges’ solution for providing customized learning and development programs directly to organizations in the community. We are tasked with the mission of supporting the workforce development needs of corporations and for profits, non-profits and government agencies in our county.
