IPS invites you to take a good look at our new website, www.invistaperforms.org. We’ve redesigned a few pages and added some new information and resources. We had a few goals for the redesign including increased ease of use and clearer messages about who we are, what we do, and how we do it. Last summer we worked as a team to perform a SWOT analysis of our Marketing Strategy. Looking at our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats helped us realize that we needed to more fully describe our expertise in the field of Organizational Development. Another featured change we want to highlight is we’ve added information to our website about our approach to Customized Training, Coaching, and Consulting.
We’ve also added Client Profiles that tell the story of how we are able to affect organizational change. Each Client Profile describes the need, our solution, and the results. You’ll find these profiles at the bottom of our approach to Consulting where you can read about our work with Metro Parks Tacoma providing consultation to support their implementation of a new Performance Management System. For our approach to Customized Training, we’ve added the Client Profiles to some of our course pages like Management where we’ve highlighted our work with the City of Tacoma, Financial Pacific Leasing, PnJ Machining, and Keurig Green Mountain.
We also realized during our SWOT process that the community had some clear misunderstandings about our organization—its identity, purpose, and methods. We put a lot of thought into our organizational ‘WHY’ and developed the tagline “Solutions that Transform People and Organizations”, which we proudly display on our home page. Our discussions led to a more robust statement about who we are, what we do and how we do it. You can find this posted on our redesigned About page.
We hope that you will enjoy exploring our redesigned website and look forward to your feedback. Be sure to check out Thursday’s blog that will highlight even more exciting website features such as exciting changes about our course outlines and additional resources! Contact us here.
